Director of Academic Support
Kerry Franco joined the USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2015 as Senior Director of Development for Academic Support. In this role, she oversees student support funds and general support for faculty and academic initiatives.
Kerry has extensive background in scholarship administration, fundraising and leadership. Prior to joining SCA, Kerry was the Director of Development for Foundation Relations at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She has also served as the Scholarship Manager and subsequent Program Officer in the area of scholarships at the California Community Foundation as well as the Executive Director of the Rio Hondo College Foundation in Whittier, CA.
She was first introduced to scholarships at USC as an undergraduate when she was selected to the governing board of the Norman Topping Student Aid Fund and later became Assistant Director to the program. Kerry earned her degree in Public Policy, Management and Planning at USC where she was named a 2005 recipient of the Order of the Laurel and the Palm. She completed her graduate studies from USC’s Rosier School of Education with a degree in education with an emphasis in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs.
