Claudia R. Walters is a Student Services Advisor for the School of Cinematic Arts, working primarily with Graduate Students in the Film and Television Production program. She provides academic advising for graduate students on matters of curriculum, course and degree requirements, graduation counseling and course clearances, as well as providing administrative support to the Student Affairs staff. She previously worked in the Enrollment Services department at USC as an Admissions and Financial Aid Advisor.
Before moving to Los Angeles, Claudia served as a Financial Aid Counselor at New York University. While there, she earned a master’s degree from NYU in Educational Theatre for Colleges and Communities. She has developed and implemented innovative theatre-based curriculum with facilitators, students and administrators in London, Puerto Rico, New York City, and Chicago.
Also an artist, Claudia has toured the country performing and composing original and educational productions. She has performed with Anna Deveare Smith, Irma P. Hall and Julian Boal, to name a few. Originally from Chicago, she received her bachelor’s degree in Theatre from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois.
