Nina Sadowsky

A true hyphenate, Nina R. Sadowsky is a former entertainment lawyer and executive, now working as a writer-producer.

Nina R. Sadowsky's credits as a film and television producer include The Wedding Planner, starring Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey, Desert Saints, starring Kiefer Sutherland, Lost Souls, which marked the directorial debut of Academy Award winning cinematographer Janusz Kaminsky, Northern Lights, starring Diane Keaton, and Jumpin' at the Boneyard starring Tim Roth, Jeffrey Wright and Samuel L. Jackson.

She has written screenplays for such companies as Working Title, The Walt Disney Company and The Film Department. Her book adaptations include Indiana Gothic by Pope Brock, Boy Heaven by Laura Kasischke, Drive Like Hell by Dallas Hudgens, and the best selling comic memoir My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One Night Stands by Chelsea Handler. Ms. Sadowsky is the author and executive producer of the original comedy, Late Bloomer, which was purchased by Lifetime Television. Sadowsky also wrote, directed and produced the short film, The First Year’s A Bitch, starring Christine Taylor and John Livingston, which was featured in numerous film festivals, and which won the award for best editing at the New York Short Film Festival.

She teaches both production and screenwriting at USC's School of Cinematic Arts' M.F.A. program.
