The Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival is the biggest and most important international Film Festival and Market dedicated to short film in the world. 

Each year, Industry Relations's Sandrine Faucher Cassidy, Director of Festivals, Distribution and Talent Development, is present there to help attending SCA students and alumni navigate the festival. But also to promote all student and alumni projects at the Market to film buyers and programmers. USC can have up to  60 films under the USC umbrella at the Market!

Submission Deadline: Sept. 24 for films completed in 2026.

Once you submit your film, please email Sandrine Cassidy at cassidy@cinema.usc.edu and mention the title of your film, the production number of your film, the running time and synopsis, and a link to your film. She will add this to her catalogue of films when she meets with buyers and programmers in Clermont-Ferrand. (Even if your film is an indpendent short film and not a USC student film. Let Sandrine know because she can mention your film to the industry contacts she meets).
