WE WANT YOU TO WRITE OUR NEXT 546 PRODUCTION!
THINKING OF SUBMITTING A SCRIPT FOR POSSIBLE 546 PRODUCTION?
PLEASE NOTE: THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING SHORT SCREENPLAYS FOR 546 SPRING 2018 PRODUCTION IS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 23rd.
Don't miss this chance to see your screenplay fully realized on screen. A 546 production is a great hands-on working experience and a real opportunity to experience the entire production process from the writer's POV. As many of you know, CTPR 546 is unusual among production courses as 546 directors do not write their own scripts, but instead collaborate with a writer on a work that the writer created.
We are looking for simple stories, well told, rich in character and memorable in effect. It's our objective to produce short films that can be made without compromise - fully realized films that would not be improved with a greater budget, different casting, or a longer screen time - and you should take that into consideration in selecting work to submit.
- You may submit a maximum of two screenplays.
- Submitted screenplays may be no longer than ten (10) properly formatted pages.
- You do NOT need to enroll in the class to participate.
Copies of the complete 546 Submission Guidelines will be available soon on the SCA Community website, in the Writing Division office, and in SPO. Please read these Guidelines carefully for important instructions before submitting your screenplay.
