College Television Awards from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences

The College Television Awards is a renowned national competition recognizing excellence in college student-produced video, digital and film work. Each year, we receive entries from hundreds of colleges and universities across the country.

Entries will be judged online by category in preliminary and secondary panels on a secure server, by members of the Television Academy who are professionals working in each respective discipline. Viewing is restricted to competition judges and staff only.

Finalists in each category will proceed to Blue Ribbon Panels for selection of winners in mid-February. Winners are honored at a black-tie gala in Los Angeles, receive cash awards, industry recognition and the opportunity to network with top television executives.

Reminder, the deadline for this year’s College Television Awards Competition is
Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 6:00 PM PST.

he 9th edition of IndieLisboa - International Independent Film Festival will take place from April 26th to May 6th, 2012, in Lisbon, Portugal. IndieLisboa focusses on the very best of independent cinema from all around the world, giving the festival a distinctive identity. The programme contains the following official sections: International Competition; Observatory; Emerging Cinema; World Pulse; IndieJunior and Independent Hero, plus two parallel sections, namely IndieMusic and Director´s Cut.

We remind you that the International Competition of the festival is for first and second films. The other competitive sections of the festival are Indiejunior (shorts and features for children and youth), World Pulse (documentaries that deal with world contemporary issues) and the Emerging Cinema and Observatory Sections are competitive for the short films.

The festival showcases features, shorts, documentaries, fiction, experimental works and animation. Screenings take place in eight of the most central, best-established and best-equipped film-theatres in Lisbon, and they attract an audience of 40,000+ annually.

You can submit your film only on your personal profile by pressing the Submit your film button. If you don’t have an account yet, you can make a Quick Registration.
Please be extremely careful when filling out the necessary information because it will be published in the Festival catalogue and our Industry guide. Incomplete and inaccurate data would adversely affect the good presentation of the film and would make it difficult for interested film industry representatives to contact you and other team members.

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

For films with Bulgarian Premiere at the 10th In The Palace ISFF, including the following categories:

    Fiction
    Documentary
    Animation
    Experimental & non-narrative productions, hybrid forms & formats, digital artwork

Films and audiovisual works that have already been presented in Bulgaria or are available for free online viewing on the web will NOT be eligible for the International Competition programme!
