PostSecret hosts a People's Documentary with creator Frank Warren
PostSecret invites students to participate in the making of a "PostSecret People's Documentary"
PostSecret creator Frank Warren is looking for students to submit original video documentary footage in the spirit of the
PostSecret project (www.postsecret.com), including all types of interesting stories and secrets in whatever creative and interesting ways you can come up with, ranging from straightforward talking heads to more artistic representations of your secrets, from high-end HD footage to choppy and grainy camera phones. Anything and everything as it pertains to the
PostSecret world.
Then, on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, Frank Warren invites you to a special PostSecret Event at USC. Warren will be sharing some of the inspirational and funny stories behind
PostSecret, revealing secrets that he’s carried for most of his life. There will be a book signing afterwards.
7:30PM - 9:30PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2008
USC Bovard Auditorium
3620 McClintock Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90007
THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Before the event, videotape your classmates’ secrets, tape personal stories about secrets, tape your conversation to the event and during your trip home.
When you finish, bring your footage (on MiniDV, HDV, CD, DVD) to the Office for Residential Education located on the 2nd floor of the Student Union on campus, addressed to Matt MacDonald. If you are unable to make it to campus, e-mail Matt at mdmacdon@usc.edu to make arrangements or mail it to 635 USC McCarthy Way, #1141, Los Angeles, CA 90007. Once all of the footage is compiled, PostSecret will create a documentary using everyone's contributions, secrets, humor and creativity.
