Pitching Your Idea:

This is the second evening of a two-part seminar hosted by Frederick Levy that will teach you the ins and outs of pitching your ideas to development executives.

The segment of the pitching seminar will continue the discussion of the art of the pitch. We will to analyze actual pitches examining both story content and pitching techniques. In addition, students will have an opportunity to pitch their own projects and receive immediate constructive feedback.

About Frederick Levy
Levy is the owner of Management 101, a firm that guides the careers of actors, authors, screenwriters, and directors. In addition to his day-to-day management of clients, he also develops and produces feature films and television programs. The company currently has a development deal with Nickelodeon.

Levy is the co-creator and executive producer of Dance On Sunset (www.danceonsunset.com) that airs on Nick. Previously, he was the executive producer of Unknown and a producer on Frailty. Levy also served as the U.S. casting director on Big In America, RTL Germany’s version of the hit U.S. TV show Making the Band.

Before founding Management 101, Levy was the vice president of development and production at Marty Katz Productions. While there, the company produced titles including Titanic, The Great Raid, The Four Feathers and Imposter.

Beyond his producing achievements , Levy is also the author of five books about the entertainment industry, the most recent of which, 15 Minutes of Fame: Becoming a Star in the YouTube Revolution, was published in June.
