Six Student Films Named Coke Contest Finalists

SCA student filmmakers have swept six out of 10 finalist slots in the 2009 Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker's Award contest. The competing entries where from 13 of the nation's most prestigious film schools.


The SCA finalist films are:

A ‘Red Ribbon’ panel of judges, from the film industry, will determine the winning title to receive the grand prize of:

•    A $10,000 monetary prize
•    The Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker's trophy
•    The winning film may be screened in over 20,000 theaters nationwide

The winner will be announced on February 24, 2009. Prizes will be awarded at the ShoWest Final Night Awards Banquet, April 2, 2009 in Las Vegas.
