Discover USC
SCA shows off its wealth of educational opportunities.
Discover USC is an a open-house event on USC’s campus. It gives anyone near college age and their families an opportunity to come to campus and see and hear what USC has to offer.
This full day program provides potential students and their parents an opportunity to meet the staff from the Offices of Admission, Financial Aid, and various academic departments, in addition to current USC students and alumni.

For this event, the Admissions Office of the School of Cinematic Arts [SCA] offers 2 information sessions in the Norris Theatre that include faculty speakers, a student panel with Q&A session and tours of the SCA Complex and the
Robert Zemeckis Center for Digital Arts [RZC].
Participating faculty this year include: Dean of Academic Affairs, Michael Renov; Production Professor, Jeremy Kagan; Chair, Writing Department, Jack Epps; Chair, Interactive Media Division, Scott Fisher, Animation Associate Professor, Shelia Sofian, Institute Media Literacy, Research Assistant Professor, Virginia Kuhn; Critical Studies Professor, David James and the lab manager for the Interactive Media division, Marientina Gotsis.

The SCA continually strives to push the forward edge of technological experimentation and scholarly thought. With six divisions: Critical Studies, Film & Television Production, Interactive Media, John C. Hench Animation & Digital Arts, Peter Stark Producing and Writing, the SCA curriculum covers the entire spectrum of film, television and interactive media.
At SCA’s open-house, we provide detailed information about the wealth of educational opportunities our programs offer in the exciting world of entertainment media.
