Upcoming Screenings

Scheduled in Norris

Several new feature films will be presented over the next month as part of the SCA Alumni Screening Series that will also be open to faculty, staff, and students.  Special Events coordinator Alex Ago and alumni director Justin Wilson have put together an eclectic list of films to screen at the Norris Theatre several of which are already sold out.  Many will include Q & A discussions following the screenings.   They include:

•    Thursday, May 22 — INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL (sold out)
•    Thursday, May 29 — YOU DON’T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN (new Adam Sandler movie—wait list only)
•    Sunday, June 1 — SUSPENSION (directed and produced by alums Ethan Shaftel and Aris Blevins)
•    Sunday, June 1 — FIELDS OF FUEL (winner of Documentary Audience Award at 2008 Sundance Festival)
•    Tuesday, June 3 — THE GO-GETTER
•    Thursday, June 5 — QUID PRO QUO (written and directed by alum Carlos Brooks;  q&a following)
•    Sunday, June 8 — SPIRIT OF THE MARATHON (includes q&a following film)
•    Sunday, June 8 — ALL THE DAYS BEFORE TOMORROW (written and directed by alum Francois Dompierre;  q&a following)
•    Thursday, June 12 — THE INCREDIBLE HULK (q&a follows)
•    Friday, June 13 — THE HAPPENING (directed by M. Night Shyamaian)
•    Sunday, June 15 — I LOVE HIP HOP IN MOROCCO (co-directed by alum Jennifer Needleman;  q&a follows)
•    Sunday, June 15 — DANCE OF THE DEAD (producer/director Gregg Bishop (‘99) and writer Joe Ballarini (‘99);  q&a follows)
