Celebrated composer and friend of the School of Cinematic Arts John Williams will conduct American Youth Symphony in a live concert of his film music on March 23, 2008 at 6:00 p.m., at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in the Los Angeles Music Center. The concert is part of the 43rd Annual Gala celebration and fundraiser for the AYS, and is one of the anticipated events of the year in Los Angeles' orchestral music scene.  All concert tickets for SCA students are $15.

Selections scheduled for performance include Williams' music from the Harry Potter films, the Star Wars films, E.T., Jane Eyre, and many others. Featured violinist and our own music director Alexander Treger and LA Phil Concertmaster will perform violin solos from Fiddler on the Roof and Schindler's List.  Wine tasting tickets are also available at a special discount!
