An article co-written by Interactive Media MFA student Taiyoung Ryu was published in the December issue of Game Developer. 

"Purchasing Power " is about the microtransaction which is at the forefront of a new wave of payment options in online games, but the concept comes with serious design concerns which are outlined in the article.
